Belgium, part 3.
(Feb 8th, 2016—last day in Belgium)
If you read my previous post, where I bought a waffine with nutella inside, there’s another story about it.
I went there with my childhood friend, Elizabeth. It was so crazy, it’s been 8 years since the last time we met. So when Ibeth found me waiting in Grand Place, we were like, so hyped.
(you know, with Sherrrr, OMG, Gila gila, Bethhh omg, Hahaha —I wonder if we actually made a big noise lol)
Anyway, as she’s been living in Belgium for years, I expected her to bring me around. But it turned out that she’s not local enough…
When I asked, “Where to eat in Brussels? Like, the authentic food here.”
And she said, “Err… I don’t know.”
Ibeth said, it’s all because she always cook for lunch/dinner, or go outside for a Korean food only. Mostly. (ok, Beth, ok.)
Then she tried to call her friend, asking for a good restaurant. “blabla… blabla, blablabla?”(talking in Deutsch/French)
But no. Her friend had no idea too.
So we ended up eating lunch in this
fancy whatever restaurant.
The food looked so fine tho… but it was not really good. (look at Ibeth’s face LOL)
We spent like an hour or so for lunch and waffines. And lucky me, I got some snapshots of myself through her lens.
Yeaaa. It’s always me, holding my bae—a nutella waffine. HAHAH. (And I just basically stood somewhere on the streets or had a bite of my waffine. Couldn’t even pose a fake-candid one because it was so crowded….)
But really, it was so nice meeting an old friend. We talked a lot about our days in elementary school, planned another meet-up in Stockholm, and of course, k-pop!
And even if she’s kinda fail to show me around, she’s still my fave tour guide in Belgium. #EA #AZEKKKK
Lastly, thank youuuu, 고마워, for the good photos—asli, you’re so pro. I’m looking for another photo-session loh Beth, this time without waffle tapi hahaha.
And all the best for your studies! Hope to see you again, either in Indo or Stockholm ya;)
See you real soon ❤ 다음에 또 봐요~
