Welcome to my first #SHERpostcards post — where you’ll see the beauty of one place through Sherroll’s eyes.
Destination: Beijing, China – March, 2019.
Highlights:
- People are generally quiet here (they stared at us when we laughed too loudly).
- Everything is mostly written & spoken in Chinese (ps: I survived with my useless mandarin — thanks to GO family: Ko Jensen–our tour guide & translator, Austin & Stanley).
- Of course, Beijing and their own charm – it’s mesmerizing. Shining, shimmering, spleeendid… *ok i need to stop*
The famous Beijing Roasted Duck (北京烤鸭).
The Forbidden City

Temple of Heaven

The Great Wall of China

The Tiananmen Square

The Summer Palace

Other scenic landscapes in Beijing

Another bucket list – ticked! Here’s to many more,
Hello,
